First the book, The Storied Life of AJ Fikry is astoundingly good, full of symbolism and Love. In my opinion, the book is so deep, that a good companion guide is of much value. Well, look no further. Kathryn Cope has done an excellent job of summarizing the plot and providing much material for discussion. My book club is discussing AJ tomorrow night and I can't wait to share the companion guide as well.BTW, an RTA is a Road Traffic Accident. 😉

It was good having the guide as you read the book. Well written.
This was very interesting and will be very helpful at our book club discussion next month.
Loved this book! It's even more enjoyable if you look up and read the actual short stories that introduce each section. There is a short synopsis of each story included, but not enough....it's interesting to see both why the author included each short story at that particular chapter and also why AJ collected these certain stories for "someone."
This is not the fiction story of A.J. Fikry by Gabrielle Zevin. This is an explanation of the literature that is used in the book to depict the different chapters, many of which I hadn't read. I bought this because I plan on using the information when discussing the book itself at our next year's book club meeting.
The book was very helpful towards my book club review. It was a great teaching tool.

If you enjoy books, bookstores, and fun character studies this is a great story. I've now read it twice, and can also recommend the audio version.
This is one of the best books I've ever read. I am a book reviewer, so I've read a few. I normally am reading around 10 books at one time. It is the rare book that captures my attention so fully that I want to focus on it. This was such a book. It is THE book I've chosen to review this year.
